Eleanore B. Piciulo Maglio, 76 of Venice, FL died October 31, 2013 at Shore Medical Center. Born in Philadelphia, daughter of the late Michael and Elizabeth Zions Piciulo, Mrs. Maglio lived in Ridley Park and Longport, NJ prior to moving to her late residence eight years ago.
Eleanore was a member of Epiphany Cathedral in Venice, FL and was a former member of The Church of St. Madeline and the Epiphany R.C. Church in Longport. She had been employed by Maglio Associates, retiring in 2005. She was an avid reader and enjoyed collecting doll houses and scrapbooking. She was a devoted and loving mother and grandmother who loved spending time with her extended family.
She was wife of the late John L. Maglio, who died April 13, 2008 after 52 years of marriage, and sister of the late Kathleen Laird.
Survivors: her sons, Michael L. Maglio (Linda) and Martin J. Maglio; granddaughters Lindsey and Tara Maglio, also aunt of Lori Watkins, Stephanie Laird, Nicole Maglio and Andrew Laird.
Funeral Mass: 11 AM Thursday at The Church of St. Madeline, Penn St. and Morton Ave., Ridley Park
Visitation: 8:30 to 10:15 AM Thursday at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Ave., Ridley Park.
Burial: SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery
