Eleanor J. Mayberry Smyth, 83 of Milmont Park died November 19, 2014 at the Taylor Hospice Residence. Born in Philadelphia, daughter of the late William J. and Eleanor Murphy Mayberry, she lived in Darby prior to moving to her late residence in 1959.

She was a graduate of John J. Hallahan High School, class of 1949 and was a member of Our Lady of Peace R.C. Church. Eleanor was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Survivors: her husband of 60 years, William J. Smyth, children; Elaine M. Fidorowicz and William J. Smyth (Patricia), grandchildren; Nicole Fidorowicz, Anthony Fidorowicz (Laura), Christopher, Amanda and Brandon Smyth, great-grandson Dominic St. Clair., and her brother William J. Mayberry (Maryanne).

Funeral Mass: 10:30 AM Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at Notre Dame de Lourdes R.C. Church, Fairview Rd. and Michigan Ave., Swarthmore where friends may call 9:30 to 10:15 AM. Burial: SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery.
