Obituary
Eleanor C. Gaval (nee Fillinich), 89, of Glen Mills, died on August 31, 2021 at Riddle Memorial Hospital. Born in Chester, she was daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Sepich Fillinich.
Eleanor was a member of St. Thomas the Apostle R.C. Church and and previously been employed by PNC Bank and Sun Ship Building and Dry Dock. She loved dancing, traveling and bowling but the most important part of her life was her loving and devoted children and grandchildren.
She was wife of the late Thomas J. Gaval who died on January 6, 2012 after 58 years of marriage.
Eleanor is survived by her children; Thomas J. Gaval (Kathleen), Teresa M. McNichol (Francis) and Suzanne M. Snow (Brian), her grandchildren; Matthew McNichol (Danielle), Kelly Sciblo (Michael), Sean McNichol (Jessie), Jacqueline Fitzpatrick (Daniel), Evan Snow and Dana Snow.
Funeral Mass 10 AM Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at St. Thomas the Apostle R.C. Church, 430 Valleybrook Rd., Glen Mills, PA 19342 where relatives and friends may call 9 to 9:45 AM. Burial will be in the adjoining church cemetery.
