W. Eileen Abrams, 95, of Ridley Park died on June 9, 2022 at her daughter's home in Cape Coral, FL. Born in Granite City, IL, the daughter of the late Arley and Ruby Smith McFalls, she lived in Eddystone before moving to Ridley Park 71 years ago.
Eileen was employed as a medical receptionist in the office of Dr. Patel and previously Dr. Tobia before retiring in 1990. She was a member of the Woodlyn Baptist Church where she sang in the choir, she also sang in a trio with Danny Bartkow at Faith Baptist Church. Eileen enjoyed cryptogram puzzles, knitting and crocheting and served on the Junior Board at Taylor Hospital for 20 years.
She was wife of the late Gracen N. Moreland and Thomas Abrams, mother of Linda E. Roan and the late Kenneth Gracen Moreland, Sr., grandmother of Jessica Masters, John Glover, Jr. (Della), Erin Moreland, Kenneth Moreland, Jr., Julia McCarthy (Thomas) and Crista Moreland, twin sister of the late W. Pauline Cloud, also survived by six great-grandchildren.
Funeral Service 7:30 PM Tuesday, June 14, 2022 at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Ave, Ridley Park where relatives and friends may call after 6:30 PM. Eileen's funeral cortege will form at the funeral home at 10 AM, Wednesday June 15, 2022 to process to Glenwood Memorial Gardens.
