Edward B. "Pop-Pop" Vicks, 57, of Woodlyn passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones on September 19, 2022. Born in New Castle, DE he grew up in Chester before moving to Woodlyn 7 years ago.
Ed was a graduate of Chester High School, class of 1982. He was a Residential Supervisor at Elwyn for over 20 years and was employed as Bar Manager at Hunts Annex in Woodlyn for the past 8 years. He loved playing pool and was a 20-year veteran of the APA league while holding position of Captain & Division Representative. Ed was an avid Phillies and Eagles Fan.
He was son of the late Theda Williams Vicks and brother of the late Robert Grasty.
He is survived by his father Cleother Vicks and his stepmother Willa, his sisters Wanda Gregg, Wendy Vicks and Tiffany Grasty, father of Weldon Hill, Elizabeth Ward, Brittnei Cooper, Edward B. Vicks, Jr. and Rasheed Norris, also survived by eight grandchildren. He was a dear friend to many.
