Edward R. Riegel, 74, of Norwood died January 23, 2016 at his home surrounded by his family after a long battle with ALS. Born in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late John and Margaret Morrison Riegel and resided in Lester before moving to his late residence 51 years ago.

Edward was employed by Willamette Industries in Bellmawr, NJ as a machine operator. He was a member of Norwood U.M. Church and was an avid camper. Edward enjoyed being with family, especially his grandchildren.

He was predeceased by six siblings.

Edward was the husband of Donna R. Miller Riegel, his wife of 56 years; father of Edward R. Riegel, Jr. (Colleen), Lori Riegel Achey (Dave) and Michelle Riegel Caratello (Dave); brother of William Riegel (Mary); also survived by five grandchildren and one great grandson

Memorial Service: 11:00 AM Saturday, January 30, 2016 at the Norwood U.M. Church, 315 Chester Pike, Norwood, PA 19074 where friends may call after 10:00 AM
