Edward J. Reilly, Sr. 80 of Folsom, died on November 10, 2021.
Born in Upper Darby, he has lived in Folsom for the past 15 years.
He was last employed as a custodian at the Lower Merion School District for 10 years, retiring in 2009 and previously worked at Sun Oil Refinery.
Edward was a graduate of Monsignor Bonner High School, Class of 1959 and was a proud veteran of the US Air Force who served his country from 1959-1965.
He was an Honorary member of the Upper Darby Fire Company.
Edward loved gardening, wiffleball, Sunday dinners with his family and was a Phillies fan. He enjoyed helping those less fortunate but most important to him was spending time with his family.
He was husband of the late Barbara F. Goldsborough Reilly, his wife of 51 years, who died in 2016; son of the late Rose Anna Marie Elliott Reilly and brother of the late Elsie Mae McKenna and Richard Treagear.
Ed is survived by his children, Janet Mickle (Mark), Megan Reilly, Robert Reilly (Kassy), Thomas Reilly (Amy), Kristen Dumigan (Matt), Patricia Darlington (Tom), David Reilly (Ashley), Katie Reilly, Beth Cronauer (Chris) and Edward Reilly, Jr. (Carrie); his sisters Patricia Rementer and Rosie Wells; 24 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be 11:00AM Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Ave., Ridley Park where relatives and friends may call after 9:00AM. Burial SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery.
