Edward A. Redding, 85 of Woodlyn died on February 22, 2026 at his home. Born in Upland, the son of the late Daniel C. and Ethel Riggs Redding, he lived in Eddystone before moving to Woodlyn 37 years ago.

Ed was a graduate of Eddystone High School, class of 1958 and then proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Before his retirement in 1993, Ed was employed as Letter Carrier for the United States Post Office for 32 years and after retirement worked for Robbins Motor Transportation. He was a member of the Chua Giac Lam Buddhist Temple where he served as a Anagarika (Deacon). Ed was also a member of Lodge No. 2 - F & A Masons of Pennsylvania, located in Philadelphia and was a former councilman for Eddystone Borough, but most important was his loving family.

He was the loving husband of Thao Ton Redding, father of Morris Redding (Susan), Rose Sarkissian (Brian), Mary Barfell (Kenn), Lee Redding (Robert) and Harry Redding (Clarissa), brother of M. Elaine Brinster (Ralph) and the late Mary Jane Millard, Harry C. Redding, Daniel C. Redding, Jr., and Rose Redding, he is also survived by 11 grandchildren.

Services and burial will be held privately.
