Edward "Eddie" Thomas McDonough, Jr. age 53, of Prospect Park, PA passed away on October 30, 2023. He was the loving and devoted son of Edward T. McDonough, Sr. and Geraldine (Kelly) McDonough.

Eddie leaves behind his sister Maureen McDonough Denison  (Jeff) ,Niece Alana Pappas Mesko (Nick), Nephew Brendan Pappas and many Cousins who he considered as Brothers and Sisters.

Shortly after graduation from Strath Haven H.S. in 1987, Eddie started his dedicated 34 year career with Hassett Air Express as a Truck Driver.

Eddie was very loyal to his many friends and showed sensitivity and concern for the people around him. He enjoyed Fishing, Skiing, and was an avid Philadelphia Sports Fan.

Although not a Military Veteran himself, he was a big supporter of our active Military and Veterans.  He also had a deep interest in History, especially Military History and was a member in high regard at the American Legion Post 507 and DAV Post 44  Del Haven, NJ 08251

In remembrance of Eddie, contributions can be made to the Scholarship fund at the American Legion Post 507, 20 W. Cleveland Ave., Norwood PA 19074.

Memorial Mass at 10:30 AM Saturday, December 30, 2023, The Church of Saint Madeline, 400 Morton Avenue, Ridley Park, PA 19078, where relatives and friends may call after 9:30 AM.  After the Funeral Mass, Burial will be at Saints Peter and Paul Cemetery.
