Obituary

Edward J. Laxton, 84 of Aston died on May 30, 2013 in Lenni.

Born in Lima, PA he lived in Westtown for 60 years before moving to his late residence two years ago.

Ed was a painter for the Laxton Painting Company. He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving during WWII. Ed was a member of the American Legion Post #87 and enjoyed working with wood, eating out and walking but most important to him was being with family and friends.


Ed was a special friend of Calvary Episcopal Church in Rockdale.

He was husband of the late Marlyn Brown Laxton who died in 2005, son of the late Herbert and Bella Butler Laxton and brother of the late Ralph,Wesley, Frank, Herbert, and Ezekiel Laxton and Betty Ronsley.


Survivors; his sister Mary Reynolds; sisters in law Dorothy Laxton and Florence Laxton; his nieces Jill A. Graham, Theresa Yannnuzzi and many other nieces and nephews.

Wednesday June 5, 2013 at Edgewood Memorial Park, Glen Mills, PA.
