Obituary

Edith A. Holscher 84 of Ridley Park died June 28, 2015 at her home.

Born in Philadelphia, she lived at her late residence for the past 60 years.
She worked at Bell Telephone after graduating from high school where she met her husband Joe. She also was a volunteer at Taylor Hospital. Edith was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She was the ultimate homemaker and was meticulous in the way she cared for her home. Edee loved decorating seasonally and baking Christmas cookies.

She was generous, kind and thoughtful and loved spending holidays with her family. Edee was particularly proud of her grandchildren and their accomplishments.

She was the wife of the late Joseph J. Holscher, Jr., her husband of 55 years, who died in 2006; mother of the late Joyce E. Holscher, who died in 2010; daughter of the late William F. and Elizabeth E. Schettinger Rebstock and sister of the late Frederick A. and Robert J. Rebstock.

She is survived by her daughter Gail E. Pron (John); grandchildren Jonathan Pron (Ellen) and Valerie Pron Carr (Daniel); great granddaughter Madison Pron and a soon to be born great grandson; also her siblings Howard Rebstock and Gertrude Van Osten.

Burial Rite and Eucharist 12Noon Friday, July 3, 2015 at Christ Church Episcopal, 104 Nevin Street, Ridley Park, PA 19078 where friends may call after 11:15AM. Burial private.
