Obituary

Earl W. Kelly, 62 of Ridley Park, died suddenly on May 5, 2011 at Pennsylvania Hospital.

Born in Philadelphia, he was son of the late Earl and Margaretta Hahn Kelly. He was reared in Springfield and lived in Brookhaven before moving to his late residence 32 years ago.

Mr. Kelly was a mechanic at Pennsylvania Hospital for the past twenty years and previously worked at Sun Shipbuilding and Drydock Co. for twenty years.

He was a member of the C.C. Hancock Memorial United Methodist Church, the Leedom Fire Company and served on the Leedom Fourth of July Committee. He graduated from Springfield High School, class of 1967.

He also enjoyed woodworking, playing golf and was devoted to his wife, children, grandchildren and his cats Bindi and Boo.

Survivors: his wife of 41 years, Sandra L. Williams Kelly, children Kristen M. Suydam (Jim) and Michael Kelly (Linda), sisters Carol Thomas, Margie Johnson and Marianne Stackhouse, also grandchildren Amanda, Ashley, Katelyn and Samantha.

Funeral Service: 10:00AM Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at the C.C. Hancock Memorial United Methodist Church, 542 Wesley Rd., Springfield, PA 19064.

Visitation: Monday 7 to 9PM at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Ave., Ridley Park and Tuesday after 9AM at the Church. Burial Eastlawn Cemetery.
