Dr. Clifford E. Schott, Jr.

Dr. Clifford E. Schott, Jr., 94 of Springfield died on June 13, 2026. Born in Wilmington, DE the son of the late Clifford and Iola Hess Schott, he lived in Philadelphia before moving to Springfield in 1965.

Clifford was a graduate of Elizabethtown College and Hahnemann Hospital School of Medicine. He enjoyed a long and distinguished career as a cardiologist at Misericordia Hospital.

He was the loving husband of the late Margaret E. "Peggy" Ewing Schott who died on January 19, 2021 after 68 years of marriage, father of Clifford E. Schott, III (Angela), Nanci Schott Gallagher (Arthur) and Rosemary Schott Fox (Martin), brother of the late John Harding Schott and he was the grandfather of Samantha Fox (Wood Heneks), Sarah Fox (Alex Georgias), Jack Schott (Kaiti Cooke) and Mackenzie Schott.

Services and burial were held privately.
