Douglas R. Hope, 70, of East Lansdowne died January 22, 2022. Born in Ridley Park, he was the son of the late Robert P. and Elisabeth Alexander Hope and resided in Bala Cynwyd before moving to his late residence 20 years ago.

Doug was a graduate of Sharon Hill High School and was employed at ShopRite. He was an avid Beatles fan and loved cats. Doug had great artistic ability and a vivid imagination. He never missed an opportunity to talk about the loves of his life; his wife, children and grandchildren

Doug was predeceased by his brother, David L. Hope.

He is survived by his loving wife of 15 years, Marilyn N. Hope; his cherished children, Eugene N. Yo, II, Manilyn N. Arciga and Marcial A. Navarro; his adored grandchildren, Samantha I. Navarro, Euricka. Zhaikim A Yo and Jerone N. Arciga; his niece, Dawn Hope McCaskill (Sean); his sister-in-law, Marilyn M. Hope; his great nieces and nephews, Kevin, Kyle (Vincenza), Anne, Jon and Josh; also cousins, aunts, an uncle, other family and friends.

Services and burial will be private.
