Dorothy M. Gaul Sadler, 91, of Ridley Township, died May 24, 2014 at Prospect Park Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Born in Philadelphia, daughter of the late Jacob P. and Marie Watson Gaul, she was reared in Darby before moving to Ridley Township in 1958.
Dorothy enjoyed spending time at the School House Senior Center and loved playing bingo, dancing, boating and crabbing, but most important was time spent with her family.
She was wife of the late Vernon I. Sadler and sister of the late Evelyn Gaul, Alice Lewis, Marie Langford, Elsie Bradley and Jacob Gaul.
Survivors: mother of Blanche E. Donato and her husband George J. Donato, Jr., with whom she made her home for 38 years, grandmother George J. Donato, III (Patty), Mark V. Donato and Michelle McNichol (Thomas), great-grandmother of Courtney, Ashleigh and Amanda Donato, TJ and Ryan McNichol.
Funeral Service: 10 AM Thursday at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Ave., Ridley Park where friends may call after 9 AM. Burial: Lawn Croft Cemetery
