Dorothy I. Malinowski (nee Szelak), 81, of Aston died on April 19, 2026 at her home. Born in Pottstown, the daughter of the late Joseph and Christine Olock Szelak, she lived in Chester before moving to Aston in 1967.
Dorothy was a graduate of Notre Dame High School for Girls, class of 1963 and was employed as a Printer by the Penn Delco School District for 35 years before retiring in 2007. She was a member of The Church of St. Joseph in Aston and volunteered for the Meals on Wheels Program. Dorothy loved gardening and cutting her grass, but most important was her loving family especially her cherished grand and great-grandchildren.
She was the loving wife of the late Robert J. Malinowski, mother of Robert Malinowski (Catherine) and John Malinowski, grandmother of Robert Malinowski (Jessica), Heather Malinowski, Brittany Burns (Craig), Jessica Cominskie (Richard), Gianna Williams (Brandon), John Henry Malinowski and Cara Rodgers, sister of Michael Szelak, Jerome Szelak, Thomas Szelak and the late Andrew John Szelak and Aurelia Szelak. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Mass 10:30 AM Monday, April 27, 2026 at The Church of St. Joseph, 3255 Concord Rd., Aston where relatives and friends may call 9:15 to 10:15 AM. Burial private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (www.stjude.org) or do a kindness for someone.
