Dorothy "Dottie" E. Greenleaf Fabian, 80, of Ridley Twp., beloved and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, cousin and friend, passed away at home on May 21, 2015.
Dorothy was born on May 25, 1934, to the late Philip J. and Elizabeth (Traub) Greenleaf in Chester. She graduated from Chester High School in 1952 and married Paul A. Fabian in 1955. They moved to Ridley Park where they recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary.
Dorothy was a homemaker and, through the years, also worked at Lakeview Elementary School, JoAnne Fabrics and was a volunteer at Taylor Hospital for over 35 years.
She was a talented seamstress, enjoyed needlepoint, was an avid reader and had a "green thumb." Dorothy was a very active woman who also enjoyed many trips with her family. She will be remembered for her determination, strength and dignity. Dorothy will be greatly missed.
She was predeceased by her brothers, Philip "Jake", Otto and John Greenleaf; also her grandson, Paul Anthony Fabian III.
Dorothy is survived by her loving husband, Paul A. Fabian, Sr.; three children, Linda Iannucci (Frank), Kathleen Hollars (William) and Paul A. Fabian, Jr. (Kim); also nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Funeral Mass: 11:00 AM Tuesday, May 26, 2015, at The Church of St. Madeline, Penn St. and Morton Ave., Ridley Park
Visitation: 9-10:15 AM at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Ave., Ridley Park
Burial: SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery
