Dorothy S. DeNofio 91 of Chester died August 17, 2015 at Christina Hospital. Born in Boothwyn, she has been a lifelong resident of Delaware County.
Dottie was a graduate of Boothwyn High School and the Chester Hospital School of Nursing. She was a RN at Crozer Chester Medical Center of over 30 years, retiring in 1986.
Dottie was a member of St. Katharine Drexel R.C. Church, Chester Hospital School of Nursing Alumni, WWII Nurses Memorial Association and the Ladies Auxiliary at the former Franklin Fire Company. She enjoyed bingo, knitting, crocheting, baking, holidays and casino trips but most important to her was her family.
Dottie was the loving wife of the late Salvidore DeNofio, her husband of 45 years, who died in 1993; daughter of the late James Norman Allen Saville and the late Annie Holdsworth Saville; also sister of the late Edith Richardson and Annie Bueley
She is survived by her sons, Paul S. DeNofio (Elisa), Joseph C. DeNofio (Sharon) and Michael A. DeNofio (Tracey); her grandchildren Chris, Heather, David, Melissa, Dominque, Zachary, Samantha, Maya, Michael and Alexandra; great grandchildren Tyler, Nolan and Breelan; also her brother James Saville (Arlene); also sons- in-law Andy Talarowski and Timothy Chism and nieces and nephews.
Funeral Mass: 11:00AM Friday, August 21, 2015 at St. Katharine Drexel Church, 1920 Providence Ave., Chester, PA
Burial: Lawn Croft Cemetery.
