Dorothy C. McDonald Burley, 90, of Folsom died October 15, 2018 at Crozer Keystone Hospice at Taylor. Born and raised in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late David J. and Ethel M. Fritsche McDonald and moved to her late residence in 1952.

Dorothy was a graduate of West Philadelphia High School, class of 1947. She was employed in the Accounting Department of Gulf Oil Philadelphia Refinery for 32 years before retiring in 1982. Dorothy volunteered at Riddle Memorial Hospital three days a week for many years and had accumulated 21,000 hours.

She was a former member of the National Rifle Association, Delaware County Field & Stream Club and Gulf Annuitants. Dorothy met her husband, the love of her life, while roller skating at Chez Vous Roller Rink and loved to iron and cook.

Dorothy was predeceased by her husband, Allan R. Burley, who died in March 1998.

She is survived by her cousins, Albert McDonald and Helen Hart; and her friend, caretaker and end of life companion, Tyrone Rice.
