Doris Rose O'Day (nee Muth),86 Doris Rose O'Day (nee Muth) of Ridley Park, PA, departed this life, peacefully in her home surrounded by the love of her family, Monday, February 25, 2013.
Doris was born March 9, 1926, in South Philadelphia, the second child of the late Howard and Edna Muth (nee App). She was the beloved wife of the late Thomas Owen O'Day who passed in 1981. She was a longtime resident of Ridley Park, PA for over 57 years and a devout member of Saint Madeline's Church, where she sang in the choir for many years.
She was an active member of Ridley Park Seniors, Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary, Sodality, and the Adopted Mothers Club of the Most Blessed Trinity.

Survivors: Her son, Thomas Howard O'Day, daughter Eileen Mary O'Day and son-in-law to be William Hanko; dear sister of Gladys Trahey and Louis Muth; grandmother of Thomas Cassidy O'Day; dear aunt to numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral Mass: 11 AM Saturday at The Church of St. Madeline, Penn St. and Morton Ave., Ridley Park Visitation: 9:45 to 10:45 AM at the church Interment: SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, we ask that donations be made to the charity of your choice .
