Doris M. Grayson Houser, 83, of Woodlyn died on September 13, 2021 at Taylor Hospital.  Born in Chester, daughter of the late Franklin E. and Amy May Jacobson Grayson, Jr., she had been a resident of Woodlyn for the past 80 years.

Doris was a graduate of Ridley Township High School, class of 1956 and had been employed at Scott Paper Company for 28 years prior to retiring.  She was a member of St. Matthew Evangelical Lutheran Church.   Doris was an avid reader and enjoyed quilting but most important was spending time with her family and her dogs.

She was loving wife of the late Eugene W. Houser and sister of the late Vivian Coleman.

She is survived by her children; Debbie J. Houser, Donald L. Houser (Annie) and Diane M. Schade (Mark), her grandchildren Michael, Annie, Sara, Annie, Stevie and Madison and her sister Sandra Matz (late Gerald) and six great grandchildren.

Funeral Service 7 PM Monday, September 20, 2021 at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Ave., Ridley Park where relative and friends may call after 6 PM.  Burial private.
