Doris L. "Daisy" Worrilow Burns 84 of Crum Lynne, died June 25, 2015 at The Belvedere.
Born in Eddystone, she was a lifelong resident of Delaware County. Along with her late husband, she was co-owner of Leo Ketchell Fuel Company and previously worked in her family's business in Chester, the B & W Restaurant.
Daisy was a member of St. Rose of Lima R.C. Church. Her family was her life, especially her grandchildren and her great grandchildren.
She was the wife of the late Paul T. Burns, her husband of 34 years, who died in 1982; daughter of the late Stephen and Mabel Carpenter Worrilow and sister of the late Florence Clarke, Viola Smith, Gladys Durham, Naomi Barclift, Mary Brown, Ruth Smith and Norman Worrilow.
Daisy is survived her children Leslie Paul Burns and Donna Evans; her grandchildren Paula Jean Evans (Jesse), Charles Evans, Jr. (Breyanne), Mandy Leigh Smith (Andrew), Paul Burns, Leslie Burns and Matthew Burns; also her great grandchildren Lucy Jane Oldham, Andy Hamilton Smith, Jr., Averie Jordan Mount, Charles Eugene Evans, III and Adrianna Burns.
Funeral Mass 10:00AM Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at St. Rose of Lima R.C. Church, 1901 Chester Pike, Eddystone, PA 19022 where friends may call 8:45 to 9:45AM. Burial SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery.
Memorial gifts may be made to St, Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942 or to the North Shore Animal League.
