A lifelong resident of Ridley Park, died November 30, 2010 at Taylor Hospice Residence. She was daughter of the late Charles and Dora Mugford Landis.


Mrs. Smith was a secretary with the Community Relations Departement at Taylor Hospital for over 25 years. She was a member of The Church of St. Madeline where she was in the Sodality. She was also a member of the Quarter Century Club at Taylor Hospital, Fabulous 40's Alumni Group, Young at Heart; TLA; Beyond Grief.


Mrs. Smith was wife of the late George Smith, Sr., former Ridley Park Chief of Police who died December 17, 1979 and mother of the late Theresa Smith Anderson (James).


Survivors: her children, Anne Wall (Richard) of Switzerland, FL, Robert Smith (Dianne) of Annapolis, MD, James Smith (Patricia) of Havertown and George Smith, Jr. (Ginny DeRosa) of Media. She is also survived by five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.


Funeral Mass: 10 AM Monday at The Church of St. Madeline, Penn Street and Morton Ave., Ridley Park where friends may call 9 to 9:45 AM.


Burial: Immaculate Heart Cemetery
