Donna A. Netzel, 77, of Lehighton PA, formerly of Milmont Park passed away peacefully at her home on July 6, 2022.

Mrs. Netzel was married to her husband, the late Richard J. Netzel, Sr., for 57 years. She cherished her children and grandchildren. Donna especially loved gatherings with her extended family and the special Christmas traditions she created for her children and grandchildren. Mrs. Netzel enjoyed spending time at the beach, gardening, bowling and traveling. She had a sense of humor and a spit-fire personality that was loved by many.

Mrs. Netzel was employed as a real estate agent for many years in the Delaware County and Lehighton areas. She was a graduate of Archbishop Prendergast High School and grew up in Yeadon. PA.

She was predeceased by her husband Richard J. Netzel, Sr., her beloved son, Richard J. Netzel, Jr. (R.J.), her brother Timothy Shaughnessy, Sr., and her parents, Francis J. Denning and Doris J. Eill Denning Shaughnessy.

Donna is survived by her daughters, Natalie M. Fisher (Joseph) and Christine F. Ambrose as well as her grandchildren, Tyler, Shaun, Casey and James. Also survived by her brother, Robert Shaughnessy (Linda), her sisters, Susan Marker (Bud), Patricia Gorman (Richard), Jean Denning Fuess (Richard), her sister-in-law Julie Shaughnessy Huhn, along with her aunt and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Funeral Service 1:00PM Sunday, July 10, 2022 at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Ave., Ridley Park, PA where relatives and friends may call after 11:00 am.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the American Cancer Society (cancer.org) in support of treatment, research, and patients.
