Donato "Dan" J. Borrelli, 90, of Ridley Park passed away on August 30, 2017. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Gaetano and Maria Nizzardi Borrelli.


Dan served in and loved the United States Navy. He began his working career at SEPTA where he spent 41 years, retiring in 1992. Dan centered his life on his faith and family, and had a genuine ability to make others feel special and loved.


Dan was the beloved husband, for 61 years, of Rita (D'Isidori) Borrelli; loving father of Daniel (Ruth) Borrelli, Jacqueline (Thomas) Anderson, and Donna (Gregory) Ciminera; devoted grandfather of Philip Anderson, Carla Anderson, and Gia Ciminera. Dan is also survived by 2 sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Mass: 11:00 AM Tuesday, at the Church of St. Madeline, 400 Morton Ave., Ridley Park, PA 19078


Burial: SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery
