Donald H. McQuillan, 90, of Ridley Park died May 15, 2019 at his home. Born and raised in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late John and Helen Kerins McQuillan and moved to his late residence in 1953.

Donald was a graduate of South Catholic High School for Boys, class of 1947, where he played basketball and served as a Captain in the US Marine Corp during the Korean War. He was employed as an Instrument Technician and Supervisor by Gulf Oil Co. before retiring in 1983 and was a member of St. Rose of Lima RC Church. Donald was a huge Philadelphia sports fan, especially the Eagles and Phillies and was a music buff of all different genres.

He was predeceased by his wife, Iris I. Campo McQuillan, who died May 5, 1995; his daughter, Donna M. McQuillan Luongo, who died July 10, 2011; and his brother, John McQuillan.

Donald is survived by his son, Donald D. McQuillan; his son-in-law, Michael A. Louongo, Jr.; and his siblings, William McQuillan and Jean Sweeney.

Burial: SS Peter and Paul Cemetery
