Donald F. Campbell 91, a longtime resident of Ridley Park and former Boeing Company employee, died suddenly on October 9, 2021 at his home.

Born in Altoona, PA, he was the son of the late Alexander J. and Ella MacArthur Campbell.

Donald was a graduate of Ridley Park High School, class of 1948 and attended Swarthmore College.

He was a writer at Boeing and volunteered as a reader at Prospect Park Elementary School and also at the American Helicopter Museum in West Chester, helping young people learn the mechanics of helicopters. Don was an avid reader, a lifelong lover of aviation, enjoyed watching movies, and followed Formula One Racing.

Donald was the loving husband of Cecilia Joyce Campbell (nee Stirling); father of Craig E. Campbell and Michael S. Campbell (Tammi Talda) and grandfather of Duncan and Connor Campbell.

Funeral Mass 11:00 AM Friday, October 15, 2021 at The Church of St. Madeline Parish, 400 Morton Ave., Ridley Park, where relatives and friends may call 9:45 to 10:45AM.

Burial 1:00PM Saturday at Saints Peter and Paul Cemetery in Springfield.
