Donald C. Brisach, 94 of Norwood died on June 22, 2024. Born in Chester, the son of the late Leon and Agnes Brisach, he lived in Folsom for 35 years before moving to Norwood six years ago.
Donald was a graduate of Chester High School, class of 1948 and was a proud US Marine Corps veteran who served during the Korean War. Before his retirement, Donald was a machinist at Kimberly Clark (formerly Scott Paper Company) and had previously worked for the Ford Motor Company. He was a member of Our Lady of Peace R.C. Church, and was an avid Philadelphia sports fan, especially of the Phillies and Eagles. Donald was an avid reader and enjoyed watching Westerns, he also loved following his grandchildren's activities and going to the Philadelphia Race Track and Delaware Park. He will be remembered as a selfless person who's family was most important to him.
He was the loving husband of the late Rosemary A. McClay Brisach, devoted father of Donald W. Brisach and Bruce M. Brisach (Annmarie), cherished grandfather of Carly and Noah Brisach and brother of the late Ann Bewley, Lillian Clark, Florence Price and Mae Howley.
Funeral Mass 10:30 AM Friday June 28, 2024 at Our Lady of Peace R.C. Church, 208 Milmont Ave., Milmont Park where relatives and friends may call 9:15 to 10:15 AM. Burial SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery.
