Donald Ralph Barnett, died at his home in Brookhaven, PA surrounded by his loving family on May 14, 2012 from cancer.

Beloved son of Ann G. Parker Barnett of Jacksonville, NC , preceded in death by his father, Ralph Hartley Barnett.

Survived by his wife of 30 years Catherine H. Barnett (nee Hitchens) and his children; Deborah Ann Wallace (Charles) of New Castle, DE, Robert S. Barnett (Nicola) of Thetford, UK, David Barnett of Brookhaven, PA, his stepchildren; Steven W. Wolff (Diana Vanderslice) of Christiana, PA, and Catherine J. Castillenti (Richard) of Livonia, MI, his sister; Helen McCullough (Douglas) of Chadds Ford, PA, eight grandchildren; John Sykes, Mark Wallace, Joshua Wolff, Olivia Barnett, Kate Castillenti, Max Barnett, Sydney Castillenti, Michael Barnett and three nieces.

Mr. Barnett was retired from the I.B.E.W. Local Union 654 as a Journeyman and was an avid deep sea and bass fisherman and enjoyed hunting and woodworking. Mr. Barnett owned his own business in the 1070's, "Countryside Electric" of West Chester, PA. Mr. Barnett was a graduate of Eddystone High School in 1959.

Funeral Service 11:00AM Thursday, May 17, 2012 at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 3551 Concord Rd., Aston. Visitation after 9:30AM at the funeral home.

Internment to be private at Glenwood Memorial Gardens at a later date.
