Obituary
Domenick A. Marascio, 82 of Springfield, died August 8, 2011 at Taylor Hospital.
Born in Philadelphia, he lived in Clifton Heights before moving to his late residence forty years ago.
Mr. Marascio worked in the Quality Control Department for PECO, retiring in 1991. He was a member of St. Francis of Assisi R.C. Church as well as a Fourth Degree Knight, Knights of Columbus, Council #590. He was also a graduate of Overbrook High School, class of 1947 and was an avid outdoorsman who loved gardening and fixing cars, but most important to him was his family.
Mr. Marascio was the son of the late Rocco and Rose Salvatore Marascio and brother of the late Peter Marascio.
Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Marie A. Penna Marascio, his children Linda DiLoreto (Richard), Gail Nispel (Michael) and Dominic Marascio (Late Susan), brothers Joseph Marascio and Rocco Marascio, Jr. and also seven grandchildren.
Funeral Mass 10:30AM Thursday, August 11, 2011 at St. Francis of Assisi R.C. Church, 136 Saxer Ave., Springfield, PA 19064 where friends may call 9 to 10:15AM. Burial SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery.
