Dolores Helen Loro (Cooke), 75, passed away to heaven on September 1, 2018 in Glendale, Arizona. Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mae Cooke.
Dolores was a graduate of Notre Dame High School. She retired from Fitzgerald Mercy in 2010. Dolores enjoyed sewing, reading, crossword puzzles and Italian cooking. She loved the sport of baseball. She was an avid Phillies and Eagles fan. Dolores was a life time resident of Ridley Park before relocating to Glendale in December 2015. She was loved by her family and friends and will be deeply missed.
She was predeceased by her husband of 51 years, Salvatore Loro, Sr., who passed away in 2014; and her siblings, Rita Fitzpatrick, William Cooke, Anna Ehm, Aloysius Cooke, John Cooke and Robert Cooke.
Dolores is survived by her sons, Salvatore Loro, Jr. (Carolyn) and Joseph Loro (Donna); her grandchildren, Amber, James, Edward, Nathan and Nicholas; her brother, Joseph Cooke; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral Mass: 10:00 AM Saturday, September 8, 2018 at the Church of St. Madeline, 400 Morton Ave., Ridley Park, PA 19078.
Burial: SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.
