Dimitrios "Jim" Sitaras, 85, formerly of Marcus Hook, died April 15, 2018 at Manor Care at Wallingford. Born in Chester, son of the late Louis and Della Pahides Sitaras, he had previously lived in Wallingford and Marathon, FL.

Jim was a member of St. George Greek Orthodox Church and was very proud of his Greek heritage. Jim was the owner of the Star Hotel in Marcus Hook and The Casa Manana in Marathon, FL. He served in the Merchant Marines, enjoyed history, fishing and supported many charities. He cherished his four sons and was devoted to his grandchildren and loving family.

He was brother of the late Jerry and Christy Sitaras.

Survivors: father of Lou (Debra), John (Cora), Steve and Jim (Kelly) Sitaras, six grandchildren, one great-granddaughter and his former wife Eugenia Kouniadis Sitaras

Funeral Service 11 AM Friday, April 20, 2018 at St. George Greek Orthodox Church, 30 E. Forge Rd., Media, PA 19063

Visitation 7 to 9 PM Thursday and after 10 AM Friday at the church.

Burial Lawn Croft Cemetery.
