Diane Spurio-McFadden, 70 of Woodlyn died on August 25, 2024 at her home.  Born in Philadelphia and a "Proud South Philly Girl", she was the daughter of the late Peter Joseph and Concetta Capone Spurio, she lived in Philadelphia before moving to Woodlyn in 1986.
Diane attended St. Monica's Business School.  She was employed as an Inventory Supply Logistics Supervisor by the Department of Defense before retiring in 2015 and previously worked in the office at Our Lady of Peace Parish.  She was a devoted member of Our Lady of Peace R.C. Church where she was a daily communicant and a member of the Sodality, the choir and was a Eucharistic Minister.  Diane enjoyed art classes, crafting and her kitty cats and she also volunteered at Our Lady of Peace Church and at local nursing homes.
She was the loving wife of Michael J. McFadden, cherished mother of Matthew J. McFadden, sister of Theresa Ruple (Franklin), Domenic Spurio (Loretta), Peter J. Spurio, Jr. (Terry), Vincent Spurio (Barbara) and Barbara Spurio (Bob), she is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Funeral Mass 10:30 AM Friday, August 30, 2024 at Our Lady of Peace R.C. Church, 208 Milmont Ave., Milmont Park PA where relatives and friends may call 9:15 to 10:15 AM.  Burial SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery.
