Obituary
Of Ridley Park, died December 9, 2010 at her home. Born in Binghamton, NY daughter of the late Berbie W. and Vera Bufano Peeples.
Mrs. Whitehead was a resident of Ridley Park for 15 years, previously living in Ridley Township for 20 years. She was a graduate of Wissahickon High School in Ambler, PA, Class of 1967, she attended Montgomery County Community College, graduated from Hahnemann University College of Medicine with a Bachelor of Science in Child Psycology and recieved her Masters Degree from Widener University. Mrs. Whitehead enjoyed boating, scuba diving and she was a avid reader and enjoyed collecting memorabilia.
She is suvived by her husband of 13 years, Paul W. Whitehead, her children Jesse P. Brittell of Ridley Park, Aimee D. Walsh (Joseph) of Blackwood, NJ and Jenee P. Brittell of Ridley Park and their father Edward J. Brittell. She was sister of Rita L. Lofgren of Norristown, Robert B. Peeples of West Chester and Brenda M. Riccardi of Florida, also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A celebration and sharing service will be held 3 PM Sunday, December 12, 2010 at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Avenue, Ridley Park, where friends may call after 1:30 PM.
Burial Private.
