Dennis A. Long, 56, died June 10, 2017 surrounded by his family's love. Born in Morristown, NJ in 1960, he was the son of the late Dr. Delbert L. Long and Betty Andrews Long. He lived in Aston for the past 31 years.

Dennis was a graduate of Bayley Ellard High School, class of 1978 and RETS Electronic School. He was a member of I.B.E.W. Local #126 and employed by Kuharchik Construction, Inc. for 25 years. Dennis loved building, and was a talented craftsman who completed the addition and garage at his home. Dennis enjoyed fishing, boating, beekeeping, creating stained glass and was a friend of Bill W's. But most important to him was time spent with his family, many friends and his favorite cats, Rupert and Zoe. Dennis will be remembered for his humility, bravery, work ethic, wisdom, and for helping to transform the lives of so many by kindly extending a helping hand to anyone in need of support.

He was predeceased by his son, David Andrew Long, who died January 6, 1989; his sister, Kathy; and his brother, Tim.

Dennis was married for 31 years to the love of his life, Heather E. Frobel Long. He has three children, Jason, Jonathan and Becky (Paul). He is also survived by: brother of Michael (Nancy), Debbie Kelly (Tom), Beth (Bob), Delbert, Jr. (Anne), Gregory, Susan and John (Tanja); brother-in-law of J.J. Long; son-in-law of Barry and Jean Frobel; and many nieces and nephews.

The family invites all who have been honored to know Dennis to celebrate his life and share memories on Friday, June 16, 2017 at 11:00 AM at the Ballrooms at Boothwyn, 1405 Meetinghouse Road, Boothwyn, PA 19061.
