Denise M. Hughes 46, of Aston, died on August 15, 2020.

Born in Upland, she lived in Brookhaven before moving to her late residence 10 years ago.

Denise was last employed as a driver for the Penn Delco School District for 7 years and previously worked at Glaxo-Smith Kline.

She was a member of St. Francis de Sales R.C. Church. Denise loved roller coasters and animals, especially ferrets. Most important to her was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Denise is survived by her husband, James M. Hughes, whom she married on May 8, 2010; her mother, Margaret "Peggy" Fuller Carlson; her father Ronald Schreiner (Betty); her children, Tracy Salyer, Rebecca Salyer and Zachary Litzinger; her grandchildren , Morgan and Ayla; also her siblings, Carol McMurrough (Mike), Kurt Wetzel and Debbie Peckham (David).
