Delmer J. "Del" Bair, II, 55 of Wallingford, died April 28, 2013 at Riddle Memorial Hospital. Born in Bryn Mawr, he was the son of the late Delmer J. and Margaret Bell Bair. Del was a native of Springfield, and previously resided in Ridley Park.




Del was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Springfield. At one time, Del was employed as a telephone operator for Bell Atlantic, predecessor to Verizon. He thoroughly enjoyed NASCAR, collecting die cast cars, computing, and listening to music.




Del is survived by his wife of 28 years, Salina A. "Sallie" Raffa Bair, his step-mother Marjorie Hamilton-Bair, and three step-siblings. Additional family members and close friends will also miss him dearly.




Funeral Service: 10:30 AM Friday at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 3551 Concord Rd., Aston


Visitation: 9:30 to 10:30 AM Friday at the funeral home


Burial: Arlington Cemetery, Drexel Hill.
