David T. Rawson, 76 of Ridley Park and a lifelong resident of Delaware County died on November 24, 2024.  Born in Chester, he was the son of the late Harvey and Hope Profett Rawson.
David was a graduate of Ridley High School, class of 1966 and received a bachelor's degree from Widener University and master's degree in political science from Temple University in 1972.  He was employed as the Director of Classification and Ratings by the Pennsylvania Compensation Rating Bureau.  He was an avid reader and World War I and World War II history buff.  David also loved classical music and collecting stamps.
He was the loving husband of 54 years to Kathleen C. "Kathie" Klee Rawson, father of Kermit Jonathan "KJ" Rawson, brother of Ellen Rawson (Ian Walden) and Susan Tiedeck (John), uncle of Anna O'Neil (Daley) and Jay Tiedeck (Janice), he is also survived by his cat Emily and was predeceased by his cats Smokey I, Gray Cat, Sarah and Smokey II.
Burial Rite 10:30 AM Saturday, December 7, 2024 at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Ave., Ridley Park where relatives and friends may call after 9:30 AM.  Burial Eastlawn Cemetery.
