David H. Oswald, 65 of Prospect Park, died January 27, 2012 at Taylor Hospital.

Born in Pottsville, he was son of the late Donald R. Oswald and lived in Glenolden before moving to his late residence in 1962.

David was last employed in the Sales department at Metro Acura and previously worked at Auto Zone.

Affectionately known as "Captain", he was a fan of the Redskins and Phillies, and a member of the Olivet Presbyterian Church and the Interboro Music Boosters. David enjoyed working on cars and loved his 1984 Olds.
He was most passionate about his family and his cat Boots.

Survivors; his wife of 40 years, Eileen Martin Oswald, his sons; David A. Oswald and Kevin S. Oswald, his mother; Phyllis M. Troutman Oswald, brother; Brian Oswald, his sister; Diane Powers, his mother-in-law Rita Martin, also three nephews and one niece.

Funeral Service 11:00AM Thursday, February 2, 2012 at the Olivet Presbyterian Church, 1001 Washington Ave., Prospect Park, PA 19076.

Visitation: 9:30 to 10:45AM at the church. Burial Private.
