David T. Marencin, 86,of Upland died October 24, 2012 at Crozer-Chester Medical Center. Born in Luzerne County, PA, Mr. Marencin lived in Aston prior to moving to his late residence 27 years ago.
He was a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II and received the Army of Occupation Medal, European African Middle Eastern Campaign Medal and the World War II Vicotry Medal. David was employed at the Towne House Restaurant in Media for 28 years, retiring in 1999. David was a member of Mount Hope United Methodist Church and enjoyed time with his wife and family, especially at their summer home in Cape May Court House.
He was father of the late Thomas D. Marencin who died August 3, 1978, grandfather of the late David T. Marencin, and brother of the late John Marencin and Anna McCloskey.
Survivors: his wife of 55 years, Margaret L. Reeves Marencin, father of George Marencin, Nancy Hall (Edward), John Marencin and Shirley Beale (Robert), brother of Richard Marencin and Dolores Carlone, grandfather of Denise Coupe (Jeremy), Jaclyn Marencin, Robert Jr. and Edward Beale, great-grandfather of Jaden Coupe.
Funeral Service: 11 AM Friday, November 2, 2012 at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 3551 Concord Road, Aston
Visitation: 10 to 11 AM Friday at the funeral home.
Burial: Mount Hope Cemetery
