David P. Cassidy, 59, of Folsom, passed peacefully with his wife and dog at his side on June 23, 2017 at his home. Born in Bryn Mawr, he lived in Malvern before moving to his late residence 33 years ago.

Dave was employed by Radnor Township for over 22 years and they became his second family. He was a graduate of Lower Merion High School, class of 1975. Dave was a member of Calvary Chapel of Delaware County, a former member of the Light House and was a volunteer at Rock Ministry in Kensington.

He was a volunteer with the Folsom Fire Co. for many years, an avid Philadelphia Flyers fan, enjoyed fishing, the beach, drawing, gardening and time with his dog, Hope. Dave loved horses, old western movies and Country music, but most important to him was his family, especially his grandchildren.

He was the son of the late Francis James and Eleanor Casey Cassidy and brother of the late Geraldine Anne Cassidy.

Dave is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Gloria Masiejczyk Cassidy; his stepdaughters, Janine Mease (Eric) and Anna Fisher; his siblings, Frank Cassidy (Carol), Lorraine Buchan (Andy), Shiela Hart (Ed), Patrick Cassidy (Karen) and Steven Cassidy; grandchildren Eric Michael Mease and Alyssa C. Mease; also many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service: 11:00AM Friday, June 30, 2017 at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Ave., Ridley Park where friends may call after 10:00AM.

Burial: Eastlawn Cemetery
