Obituary
Daria M. Pierdomenico Palo, 94 of Folsom died November 13, 2013 at Springfield Hospital surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Pianella, Providence Prescaro, Italy, Daria came to the United States in 1929, settled in Chester and has lived at her late residence for 58 years.
She was a member of Our Lady of Peace R.C. Church and the International Ladies' Garment Workers' Union and was a talented needle worker.
She loved time at the beach in North Wildwood and casino trips, but most important to her was spending time with her family.
She was daughter of the late Giuseppe A. and Ciriaca Pace Pierdomenico, mother of the late Barbara Palo Foster and Lorraine Palo and sister of the late Assunta Pierdomenico, Leona Delgott, Nicholas Pierdomenico, Alvo Pierre and Vincent Pierdomenico (Louise).
She was the loving wife of James V. Palo, her husband of 71 years; devoted grandmother of Heather Foster and Johanna Foster and great grandmother of Sophie Foster-Palmer and Kellum Foster-Palmer. Also survived by her brother Raymond Pierdomenico (Elaine) and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Mass 10:30AM Tuesday, November 19, 2013 at Our Lady of Peace R.C. Church, 208 Milmont Ave., Milmont Park where friends may call 9:30 to 10:15AM. Burial SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery.
