Daniel W. Terenick, 51 of Woodlyn, died suddenly on October 11, 2013 while cruising on the Caribbean.
Born in Ridley Park, Dan was son of the late Michael and Elizabeth M. Ginunas Terenick and was a lifelong resident of Ridley.
Dan was a service technician for Mettler Toledo Company and previously worked at Xerox.
He was a graduate of St. James High School, class of 1980 where he played football and ran track and was a member of their Alumni Association.
He was also a member of Our Lady of Peace R.C. Church. Dan enjoyed boating, billiards and was an avid Philadelphia sports fan. Dan was a devoted husband and father and enjoyed attending his family's activities.
He was the loving husband of Trace Ann George Terenick, his wife of 26 years; devoted father of Daniel W. Terenick, Jr. (Jessica), Phillip M. Terenick and Dylan G. Terenick; brother of Michael R. Terenick (Barbara) and Georgann Okinsky (Steven);also survived his father in law and mother in law John P and Leilani George and was brother in law to John George (Shannan) and Linda McTighe (Jim).
Funeral Mass 10:00AM Friday, October 18, 2013 at The Church of St. Madeline, Penn St. and Morton Ave., Ridley Park.
Visitation 6:30 to 9:00PM Thursday and 8:30 to 9:15AM Friday at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Ave., Ridley Park. Burial private.
