Daniel J. Ryan, 88, of Woodlyn died December 22, 2015 at Prospect Park Health and Rehab. Born in Darby, he was son of the late John Joseph and Helen Marie Kennedy Ryan and has resided at his late residence for 80 years.




Daniel graduated from Ridley Township High School, class of 1945 and worked as a tool and die maker for Westinghouse Corp. before retiring in 1977. He was a member of Our Lady of Peace R.C. Church and was an avid fisherman and Phillies fan. Daniel enjoyed working on cars, watching PBS TV and riding his bicycle, but most important was his devotion to his family.




He was predeceased by his sisters, Helen Garrett and Mary Evangelista.




Daniel is survived by his loving nieces and nephews, Daniel Evangelista, Christopher Evangelista, Maria Falcone, Anne Fuller and Kandy Long




Memorial Mass: 11:00 AM Friday, January 8, 2016 at Our Lady of Peace R.C. Church, 208 Milmont Ave., Milmont Park, PA 19033 where friends may call after 10:00 AM.
