Obituary
Daniel A. McLaughlin, 78 of Gradyville, Edgemont Township died on March 23, 2013 at Riddle Memorial Hospital.
Born in Philadelphia and reared in Aldan, he lived in Collingdale before moving to his late residence 52 years ago.
Dan was a Lineman/Foreman at PECO for 39 years. After his retirement in 1995, he drove hay wagons at Linvilla Orchards for ten years.
He served in U.S. Army during the Korean War and was a member of the Church of St. Thomas the Apostle. Dan enjoyed working with wood, making hand crafted toys, loved working in his garden, was an avid reader; but most important to him was his devotion to his loving family.
He was son of the late Augustin and Mary Davie McLaughlin and brother of the late Rita McLaughlin, Ellie McDowell and Madge Dyckman.
Survivors; his wife of 55 years, Rosemary C. Gallagher McLaughlin; his children Eileen Gorman (Bob), Beth Kessler (Mark), Thomas McLaughlin (Michelle), Catherine "Cathy" Schrof (Bill) and Tricia Briddes; siblings Bob McLaughlin and Kate Dyckman (Dick); also 14 grandchildren.
Memorial Service 11:00AM Saturday, March 30, 2013 at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 3551 Concord Rd., Aston where friends may call after 10:00AM. Burial private.
