Daniel K. Long 62 of Ridley Park, died on June 21, 2023 at his home,

Born in Shamokin to the late Charles K. and Virginia H. Leiser Long and has lived in the Ridley area all of his life.

Dan was last employed by Ridley Township and previously was a ground handler for USAir and American Airlines.

He was a graduate of Ridley High School, class of 1978. As a youth, Dan was a member of the Folsom Boys Club and was an outstanding pitcher on his baseball team.

Dan loved going to Florida to golf and to attend spring training camp baseball games.  He was a Philadelphia sports fan and often went to games with family.  He was a member of Teamsters, Local 312, and the International Association of Mechanic and Aerospace.
He loved family gatherings, especially time spent with his cherished nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He also loved his being parent to his dog Philly.

Dan was the loving brother of David C. Long (Aundrea), Laurie A. Marshall (Paul), Elizabeth Pasternak (Mike), Mark C. Long and Lisa J. Pisani (Ed); also survived by 22 nieces and nephews; seven great nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation 6:30PM until 8:00PM on Wednesday, June 28, 2023 at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Ave, Ridley Park, PA with a sharing of memories at 8:00PM
