Daniel B. Barbour, 60, of Chester died January 16, 2017 at Crozer Chester Medical Center. Born in Norfolk, VA, he was a lifelong resident of Chester.

Daniel was a graduate of Chester High School, class of 1975 and was employed by Glazier Local Union 252, Philadelphia. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was devoted to his family.

Daniel was predeceased by his parents, Jasper Monroe Bates and Hazel Ann Hatcher.

Survivors: husband of Charlene F. Lewis Barbour, his wife of 39 years; father of Paul M. Barbour and Danielle M. Barbour; son of Barbara Bates; brother of Phillip Bates, Michael Bates, David Bates, Mark Bates and Barbara McDowell; and nephew of John and Edith Williams and John and Joanne Sweeney

Memorial Service: 1:00 PM Monday, January 23, 2017 at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Ave., Ridley Park, PA 19078, where friends may call after 12:00 noon
