Colleen L. McKay

Colleen L. McKay, 61 of Boothwyn died on February 28, 2026 at her home. Born in Philadelphia, Colleen lived in Brookhaven before moving to Boothwyn 30 years ago.

Colleen was a graduate of Ridley High School, class of 1982. She was employed as a machine operator for Direct Mail for the past twelve years and had previously worked at Rite Aid. Colleen enjoyed watching movies and soap operas as well as going shopping and completing crossword puzzles. She loved camping and traveling, especially vacations in Wildwood, NJ.

Colleen also took great pride in cleaning and being a homemaker, but most important was her loving family, especially her cherished grandchildren. She loved listening to music with some of her favorites being Loretta Lynn, Kenny Rogers, Neil Diamond, and the Carpenters.

She was the loving companion of Glicerio M."Jun" Dejos, Jr., mother of Meghan D. Gray (Michael), daughter of Margaret Ellen Cromley McKay and the late William Harry McKay, mom-mom of Adalynn Gray and Jaxson Gray, and sister of Michael McKay, Marjorie McKay and the late Michelle McFalls and Katherine McKay.

Visitation 6:30 to 8:30 PM on Wednesday, March 4, 2026 at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Ave., Ridley Park and 9:15 to 10:15 AM Thursday, March 5, 2026 at St. John Fisher R.C. Church, 4225 Chichester Ave., Boothwyn where a Funeral Mass will begin at 10:30 AM. Burial will follow in SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery.
