Clifford E. McCleaft 89 of Potter County, died December 24, 2015 at Keystone Villa in Ephrata, PA.
Born in Aston Mills, PA, he was the son of the late Clifford and Anna Pennington McCleaft. Clifford was a truck driver for J. Ray Patterson, retiring in 1988 and previously worked at General Steel Company.
He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, serving in the 3rd Marine Division during WWII. Clifford was a member of the American Legion in Shinglehouse, PA, the 3rd Marine Division Alumni, V.F.W. Post 6613 in Lenni, PA and the Teamsters.
He enjoyed woodworking, gardening, hunting, but especially enjoyed being with his family.
Clifford was the husband of the late Ann M. Wynne McCleaft, his wife of 14 years who died in 2004; father of the late Carol Drain Grasser and Ed McCleaft (Nancy) and brother of the late Clyde McCleaft.
He is survived by his daughter Ruth A. Guillo (Tony); his siblings Fred H. McCleaft (Carol) and Margaret Miller (Frank); also six grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
