Claude K. Schreffler, 72 of Aston, died July 1, 2011 at Heartland Hospice, Wilmington.
Born in Mt. Carmel, PA, Mr. Schreffler has lived in Aston since 1941.
He was an electrician at Widener University. Mr. Schreffler was a U.S. Air Force veteran, a member of Essington VFW Post #4845, and the American Legion Post #926 in Aston. He also enjoyed all sports.
He was husband of the late Keiko Komiyama Schreffler, his wife of 37 years, who died in 1996, son of the late Claude E. and Beulah Wagner Schreffler and grandfather of the late Eric Schreffler.
Survivors: his sons Ken Schreffler (Terry) of Newark, DE, James Schreffler (Tina) of Boothwyn and David Schreffler (Kari) of Lewis, DE, sisters Diana "Diane" Schreffler of Aston and Betty Wierczski of Newark, DE and also six grandchildren.
Funeral service 11:00AM Wednesday, July 6, 2011 at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 3551 Concord Rd., Aston where friends may call after 10:00AM. Burial Glenwood Memorial Gardens.
